Hello. I have been greatly enjoying your FS9 aircraft, but have a couple of questions I can't resolve elsewhere on the board:
1) EDIT - Found that with the newer version of the panel has yaw dampers that can be turned off, never mind about this question!
Note to self, remember to check for updates!
2) When loading a HJG727 is it necessary to load the default C182 flight first, then change aircraft as with some other HJG jets (L1011 for example)? Sometimes this works OK, other times I get odd errors like the air speed jumping around (pitot heat on) or the autopilot being unable to hold altitude (set per manual).
I also get these problems sometimes after loading a saved flight.
Thank you for your assistance!

Turn of the general setting in FS "Autorudder" or something like that, so your rudder and nosewheel doesn't turn at the same time.
I have never ever needed to start up with one aircraft to be able to use another aircraft, but I know that many people prefer this in order to have set all settings to "default" ... I prefer to do that by myself.

It´s " not absolutely essential" to start each FS session with the default FS CESSNA .... however .... there are any number of both freeware and commercial/payware developers that "DO" recommend it. simply as a means on synchronising FS add-on aircraft/panels/gauges to default FS settings. It "IS" a good idea to do this whenever changing from 1 FS aircraft type to another FS aircraft type .... particularly in the cases of multi-engine aircraft types, or, changing from a 2 or 3 engine aircraft type to a 4 engine aircraft type can .... otherwise .... result in the 4 engine aircraft type then loasding into FS with only 3 of its 4 engines running. Not doing this with some other FS aircraft types (though not HJG aircraft that I´m aware of) can also result in fuel imabalances/misconfigurations imposed through non-synchronization .... and which can/will result in control difficulties. Some add-on panels do also have a peculiarity with is respect of some gauges which can get stuck in 10 degree increments of adjustment rather than 1 degree of increments of adjustment .... particularly in regard to heading and course adjustment bugs. Loading a default FS panel "FIRST" .... and "THEN" selecting your preferred aircraft of choice is usually a sure way of avoiding such anomalies. In the words of Dave BAKER (I think it is, over at CBFS) some years back .... "loading a default FS panel .... FIRST .... and then moving to your aircraft/panel of choice .... may sound like an incredibly boring way to start FS, but, it is been known to result in these sorts of issues (discussed above) simply disappearing" .... short of a more permanent and further reaching fix for the affected aircraft/panesl/gauges in question of course. This, as explained above, is the reasos why some, including me, still recommend such action .... regardless ! Mark C BOG/COL

Thanks for the help! Now I just need to figure out how to land the 727-100 without auto-throttle!
