Does anyone dabble in fictional repaints? Wondering if anyone would entertain a DC-9-10 paint of the Montreal Canadiens.
Trying to keep a simple red fuselage with the team logo on the tail and team name on the side.
Been around the site for years, lately been enjoying the L1011 with Royal Airlines livery. Some time ago, I had asked if anyone would try a 727 in Greyhound Air livery. Not pressing or pushing, just thought I would enquire.....
An attachment as a suggestion.
Thanks, love the site!

Sorry aulde son .... but .... we/HJG steer well clear of "FICTIONAL REPAINTS/FAKE PLANES .... to specialize in historical reality only.
HOWEVER .... if anyone out there, even any member of our own pating team, wants to help you out .... then I guess they´ll contact you in their own time.
A lot has been suggested recently, but, just how much of what´s been suggested might come to fruition depends entirely on its appeal to our painters.
We can´t, and don´t promise, anything despite whatever´s suggested .... in fact we leave everything up to our painters to decide for themselves and according to the dictates of their own free time.

Better get that Boston one done, they've only got one flight left this season! Hey seriously, thanks for entertaining the request. No harm in asking. I respect the historical aspect of the site. John

Absolutely no trouble at all "JHALEY101" .... and as you say .... "there no harm in asking" either. Even though we/HJG probably aren´t the one´s to meet your request .... I hope you can find someone whom is able to volunteer assistance to you. Good luck anyway ! Mark C BOG/COL

Hi Tony, Absolutely delighted to log into the forum today and read your reply. I'm not trying to push myself onto you, but I've included a logo and a link to the team website in the hopes that this might assist you if in fact you do take on the request. canadiens.nhl.com/club/schedule.htmI do respect that you are all busy here and I do understand the position of the group when it comes to fictional liveries. At the same time, I thank you for even entertaining the request. Thanks again, John Haley

Since you all don't do fictitious paints, can I have some white tails or bare metals?

This is why I dont do ad hoc stuff
Can I suggest you make your own up like I have had to do for ages? Not being rude or but unless the author of the model says so we keep paintkits here for HJG use only, I made up the paintkit for the Tristar from textures available on the internet its not hard honest.

I will post some screenshots in the upcoming few days. I have been putting this beauty through its paces with stops in Croatia, Turkey, Russia and Kazahkstan.
I have one additional question for the painter......Can you tell me the nearest airport to where you live? I like to fly the aircraft back to Montreal from its painters home location. A bit quirky, but I've been doing that with those who have repainted my fleet.
Thanks again, its a beautiful paint and I love the snarling teethy logo!
John
