May I add my two requests. These were, I think, the last two regular Caravelle operators into the UK, Altair of Italy (their final livery in blue) and Air Toulouse of France. I think it would also be good to see an repaint in the final Air Inter livery. Thanks and keep up the great work. Ricco6

ALTAIR has already been done (supplied by one of my correspondents outside of HJG) and is hosted here as follows .... 1980 - I-GISA - SE-210-3 Textures by Manuel Villa Last Updated: 01 Oct 2009 It's texture and aircraft base pack are available from the "CARAVELLE 3 (late)" section of our "SE210-3" downloads page. Thanks for the reply. the example you have in the liveries section is from then Altair had Series 3 Caravelles. When they took on a small number of ex-Finnair 10Bs they applied a new scheme (see attached photo I've downloaded from airliners.net), which is different from their previous ones.
It's this example I was referring to in my first message, as it's applicable to the Series 10B model.

Careful when requesting CARAVELLE 10B versions. Do not confuse this aircraft with the CARAVELLE 10B1 .... otherwise known as the CARAVELLE 10R. The -10B is an altogether different/improved aircraft from the -10B1/10R and which is the series 10 version we currently host here at HJG. The -10B1/10R was represented a cheaper option for those airlines which needing jet equipment but whom couldn't afford the more expensive slightly larger and aerodynamically improved -10B. For this reason the 10B1/10R was essentially a CARAVELLE 6R airframe which benefitted from P&W JT8D janjet engine .... with associated range and payload improvements. There is a tendancy for some people to confuse these versions The other CARAVELLE 10/11/12 models are planned .... for future release .... at the convenience of AFG/Esa & Ari KAIHLANEN. No texture requests for CARAVELLE versions other than those we currently represent (1/1A, 3, 6N, 6R, and 10B1/10R) can be entertained "at this tis time" though for lackof the appropriate 3D models. In the case of the 2 ALIA texture requests .... this one has come up previously. Unfortunately I can't seem to view the pictures (slow connection speed ), but, if they involve Arabic fonts .... to any extent .... then that could be "a problem" .... unless "actual references for these fonts were procured. Mark
My records suggest that Finnair operated 10B3 series Caravelles so maybe these are 'genuine' Series 10 models which went to Italy.
Glad to hear the other series are in the pipeline

Apparently not .... because the 10B3 was also simply designated as the -10B .... each representing the same "slightly longer" fuselage and P&W JT8D-1. D-7, or D-9 fanjet engines
It seems the CARAVELLE 10R/10B1 was quite unique in that it represented a basically -6R airframe with P&W JT8D-1, or D-7 fanjet engines.
The -10 SERIES is actually quite a "mixed bag" of varying aircraft specifications.
