I reckon so ! A entirely plain red fuselage .... with a blue and white shaded forward fuselage ribbon and white "BRITISH AIRWAYS" titles. And with "BILLY THE BUS" titles on the forward fuselage/nose .... in a nice scroll/script font. The Union Jack tail logo would need to be reduced in size .... slightly .... and raised a little too .... so it's bottom diagonal stripe doesn't then intrude at all into the red rear fuselage section. I reckon it would look "QUITE NICE" .... if not "QUITE ICONIC" too Suppose I should really have "COPY RIGHTED" that idea aye ;D OH WELL .... off to see HJG's lawyers tomorrow Mark C AKL/NZ

I wonder if Heathrow can cope with three arriving at once with long gaps in between perhaps that's the real reason they wnat another runway Landor is history ;D...the most depressing of all BA liveries especially in the dull weather.......was a lot darker than usually portrayed Mark...first BA one due March 2013 BA is also rumoured to be about to change their livery That would make sense with 787 and A.380 to come and the current livery having been arround for a while. It's ten years to the month I last saw a BA Landor liveried aircraft ;D

I guess that "Landor" livery always looked "quite nice" here (in New Zealand) because we get so much clear sky and sunshine all-year-round/regardless of the seasons.

anyone else prefer the old Landor scheme?? quote] Yep, loved the the Landor scheme. Then again, I liked this (except for the British and no airways!). Also the world tails have grown on me, I'll have to paint some more Paul

Dunno if anyone's interested .... BUT .... looks like the PROJECT AIRBUS A380 has been re-released sometime over the past week with a number of improvements .... including a VC.
I think one of the only drawbacks to enjoying this aircraft has been the lack of a decent panel for it.
Here's the AVSIM.COM information regarding it anyway ....
I can't vouch personally for this latest version release. I've always thought that the version i've had until now (downloaded during May) has always been "VERY GOOD" .... so .... this latest releast looks encouraging/interesting.
I don't know if aby of the improvements affect existing texture releases .... but .... I suspect not !

I don't know if aby of the improvements affect existing texture releases .... but .... I suspect not ! There seem to be only a few small changes with the new release. For the Rolls Royce version the weight and balance has been revised upwards a bit (empty weight to 634500.00, and max gross weight to 1254400.00), and for both RR and EA versions the autotrottle max rpm has been increased from 90 to 98. Until somebody makes a proper panel for this plane, I'm using Ken Mitchell's A340 panel which does the job pretty well. In my opinion, Project Airbus has done a great deal of fine work on the FDEs and models of its latest releases, the A380 and A321. Albert

I've now downloaded .... installed .... and got it all working .... but .... aren't yet sufficiently familiar with it to express an intelligent oppinion .... other than to say it seems to be quite a big learning curve" in the sense of figuring out how everything works and in order to beable get the very best possible performance/enjoyment out of it all.
I do find some of the VC instrumention is a little difficult to read/interpret .... in that it does lack clarity in some cases .... is my obervation rather than any criticism !

Correction! The weight and balance I mentioned has not changed in the new release. The figures I quoted were for the Qantas A380 (file pa380_qf.zip) which uses Trent 972B-84 engines as opposed to Trent 970B-84 of other airlines. I have just noticed this myself The autothrottle max rpm did change though. Albert
