In January 1970, I flew as a passenger on a "World Airlines' 707 from Travis AFB to Clark AFB (stopover in Hawaii) and then from Clark AFB to Tan son Nhut AFB on a "World Airlines" 727. Have any of you guys heard of this airline?

I have heard of "World Airways" which is probably the same. Below is an image of one of their 707's. Herman

There is .... or was until recently (because ity might have been moved and scrapped by now as part of the general airport enhancement/tidy-up) .... an ex WORLD AIRWAYS B707-320C hulk sitting in the millitary section of Aeroopuerto El Dorado De Bogota, in Colombia, near the threshold of RWY 13L, which had previously been in service with the FUERZA AEREA COLOMBIANA .... as a VIP transport as I recall.

Last year when the volcano erupted in Iceland, alot of the Virgin Atlantic flights at KMCO got cancelled and when flights resumed Virgin used World Airways DC-10's to augment their flights and get things back on schedule.
