Just wondering if anyone is running FS9 on a Mac? I know you need to run it on Windows within the Mac, but don't know much beyond that.
Anyone have any knowledge/feedback?
Thanks!

Hi,
I run FS9 on my 27" iMac Core 2 Duo using Bootcamp. Sometimes I run it full screen, but I prefer running it in a window which takes up the whole left side of the screen. Then I undock FSNav and put it in the top-right corner (no more pressing F9 ;D) and below that there's space for putting any undocked windows, such as the radio stack etc. I get the same frame rates, or better, than I did when I used to run FS9 on a PC, even with all that on the screen at the same time.
You'll need to use Windows 7 with the new versions of Bootcamp as I don't think they support XP any more, but that's no problem. Just install FS9 into your home folder so you own all the files, then you won't have any permission problems. I have my FS9 installed in 'C:\Users\Iain\Flight Sim\FS9' that way any other add-ons can be installed in 'C:\Users\Iain\Flight Sim' which also solves any permission problems they would otherwise have if you installed them in 'C:\Program Files'
By the way, flying with a 3D cockpit, or just looking at the scenery full screen in 27" is ;D ;D ;D
