Hi, first of all, what fantastic series of aircraft you have made! I am flying the 707 series regularly but there's a little inconvenience with the panel lighting on the 707. This is in the FS of course not in reality.
At night when flying the panel is lit normalyy but ewhat you don't see anymore is the icons for us, FS pilots, to make the other panels, like the FE panel or the overheadpanel, pop up. These icons are in the dark and you have to grope your way to find the right one. Same thing to go back to the main panel. Of course you can use the shift+ 1 or 2 or 3 etc on the keyboard. But maybe it is an idea to get these icons ilumminated as well in a future update? I realise this is not realistic, as they don't exist in the real plane, but it is more convenient for the FS pilot.
cheers,Tompie

Probably the reason why George did that .... and I do agree with his decision here .... is that he wanted those ICONS to be as inconspicuous as possible ..... simply so as not to detract too much from the overall/general look of the panel .... which they might very well start to do if they were illuminated for ease of identication/acces during nocturnal situations.
After one's "well familiar" with those B707/720 panels then finding those ICONS should become "instinctive with practice" .... OR .... as you say .... one can also always resort to using the SHIFT=(x) keyboard commands in order to exchange sub panel views.
No revisions are planned for any of these panels .... sofar as i'm aware.
