This one seems to be getting a very frosty reception over at the Classic British Flightsim forums. Looks like I'll be sticking with the excellent Freeware version for FS9! Here is the "Frosty Forum" I speak of: www.cbfsim.org/cb-bb/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=22169

Let me tell you a little bit about the VISCOUNT and FS .... and p-l-e-a-s-e "TRUST ME" You won't get better VISCOUNT models that those produced by Rick PIPER. You won't get better VISCOUNT textures than those produced for the Rick PIPER models by Garry RUSSELL. You won't get better VISCOUNT panels than those produced for the Rick PIPER models by Fraser McKAY. "IF" you like the VISCOUNT my friend .... then save your money .... and invest in the "FREEWARE" I've mentioned above .... because the VISCOUNT simply doesn't get better than that for FS. Mark C AKL/NZ +1 To that statement! I believe I was flying it at one stage, but, I ended up reinstalling windows! Funnily enough, attempting to engage reverse thrust will flip your plane!

I think you might be referring to the F27/FH227 .... for which Fraser McKAY has also done 2 great looking panels for as well. With this simulation F2/REVERSE THRUST shouldn't ever be used .... because it will cause one to end up sitting on their arse/tail and staring at the virtual sky in bewilderment ;D Instead .... upon landing .... and once all 3 landing gear are firmly settled on the RWY .... just hit F1 to fully idle everything. I'm not sure, but, I don't think the F27/FH227, or the VISCOUNT, or even the HS748/HS780 ANDOVER either for that matter, have a reverse pitch. So far as I'm aware .... they use a "ground effect" only for desceleration after landing. Garry will probably know more about the guts of all this than I do. Mark C AKL/NZ

Only the HS.780 had thrust reverse as standard. A few of the Fairchild F-27 models had it as an option, but Garry and Frasier say that they've not found evidence of anyone ever taking it up.
As it is, a prop in BETA (flat pitch) creates a very effective brake on it own, so use of thrust reverse wouldn't have greatly effected landing roll distances by a large margin.

All Dart were capable of being fitted with reverse thrust but only the HS.780 Andover had it that I know of
The only one I don't know is if the Breguet Alize
The other type definitely never had reverse thrust.
