On FSX when you want to raise the view "Enter & Backspace" at the same time. OK, that works for me when the aircraft is stationary, but when under way it does not change the view. Any one have the same problem?

Yes, I have had to deal with this issue from day one with FSX.
The shift+enter did not work at all on my system (Vista) then Dan suggested to use ctrl and hold down on the Q key which worked quite well, however, every time I use the hat switch on the yoke the eye point reverts back to its default position.
I find that in FSX I need to adjust pretty well all aircraft cockpit view positions and then re- adjust once the cruise attitude has been established.
I will have to try your method ( enter & backspace )

Hi Herman, Yes I'm using Vista os also. The Shift+Enter did nothing for me. It was enter+backspace that changes it to up and enter+shift to lower. I'll try the Q key as you do and see what happens. Yes every time you change the view it goes back to default, but then I can't change it no matter what I do. Maybe it's a vista thingy. Thanks again. I'll try it!

I'm very sure it has nothing to do with the operating system, try running through your control-settings instead and see what your aliases are set to.... there's quite a lot related to viewpoint changes

Thanks Dan, Should have looked at the settings again before I started this thread. Of couse FSX Key stroke settings showed Cntl + Q to raise and Cntl +Shift + Q to lower. I'm sorry I took up anyones time with this. Thanks again. Denny/Falcon
