Hello. For once I don't have a problem, but a tip. I read this in the installation.txt for the md80_panel_spada.zip: " This panel version "has not", yet, been edited by HJG panel engineers, but, has been updated with side views from the HJG/HILMERBY/CARTY DC9 panel series .... which work fine, but, have not, yet, been fully adapted (coloured) for this particular panel." I don't know if you are aware of this, but Stellan Hilmerby has a set of MD80 side views on his site: www.hilmerby.com/download.htmlSo for anyone that wants real MD80 side views I can recommend a visit to his site. Cheers .... Mats

The side views offered by Stellan HILMERBY .... used for his original DC9 panels .... are the very same ones represented in our own HILMERBY/CARTY/HJG DC9 panels .... AND .... are also the very same ones (save for the left rear view which is different) as are currently feratured within each of the 4 MD80 panels we host here too. There´s no need to change/alter anything at all .... at the moment ! The reason why I made the following statement .... .... is because in the case of both the SPADA panel (with its brown background).... and SOUTHEY panel (with its cream/grey background) "ONLY" .... these side views don´t, yet, match the colour of their respective main panel views. In the case of the GOLDING (early analogue) .... and GOLDING/SEALE (late analogue) panels .... the blue coloured HILMERBY side views, as used with our DC9 panels, more-or-less match the blue colour of their respective main panel views. The future editing, which I refer/hint to, will/"MAY" happen "in the future" .... BUT .... I´m not prepared to suggest any particular time frame. Mark C BOG/COL

Actually .... I´ve just realized there "IS" indeed a MD80 specific interior panel view suite on the HILMERBY website I´ve just downloaded and looked at it. Most of these MD80 views, provided within this package, are the very same ones as those featured within his DC9 panels .... but .... are just recoloured accordingly. Having closely looked at these, now, I´ve also come to the conclusion that some aspects of most of these MD80 panel interior views "aren´t as sharp/clear/detailed" as those featured within his DC9 panel/s (which we´re already using anyway) .... SO .... I intend to stick with what we´ve currently got (as selected by me) and then modify these (which we´re already authorized to use anyway) accordingly .... and at the appropriate/most convenient future time. Thanks for the advisory though ! Mark C BOG/COL

ACTUALLY .... I need to correct myself "once again" here .... since what I´ve been referring to (above) .... in terms of panel interior views .... is "mostly", for me, some 2 panels developments and almost 2 years back now ;D
I´ve just realised .... I opted not to use any of the originally supplied HILMERBY panel interior BMPS because I found a much superior alternative ....
I remember now .... I, instead, opted to use the Paul GOLDING supplied panel interior views for our DC9 panels .... because (a) they were far better, and (b) their colour matched almost perfectly that of the HILMERBY DC9 main panel .... and I then carried this option/preference over to each of the 4 MD8X panels which we currently host here because I wanted their interior combings (side views predominently) to match those of the DC9 combings as best as possible !
The interesting thing about all of this though is .... the Paul GOLDING supplied panel interior BMP´s are from an MD80 anyway .... SO .... they may be considered as being fairly accurate .... at least for the 2 analogue panels .... and they´re by no means out of place for the DC9 panels either !
"EVERYTHING ELSE" remains .... as I´ve stated above though .... in terms of both colour matching in regard to the 2 blue/analogue MD80 panels, and possible future re-editing/recolouring of side views for the SPADA and SOUTHEY panel versions (only) in order to better match their respective main panel colours.
I still maintain our selected panel interior views option is by far superior to that of the stated alternative offered by the other MD80 panel interior view package.
