I am running a separate PC with FSX on it and I am saving HJG aircraft to a USB and they won't show up First time I unzipped it on the desktop of my main PC and put it on the USB that way but it didn't show up second time I put the whole file Not unzipped and did it that way but couldn't upload directly to the Simobjects aircraft folder so i unzipped on the desktop and still it didn't work Is it my FSX PC with Vista or my main PC with Windows7 or is it the USB?

Neither ... I suppose it is a wrong way to do things .... look at our guide on how to install our aircraft, and do it that way .. Until you are complete comfortable with these procedures, I would recommend you should refrain to try other more alternative way of doing things. Learn to walk before you run....

Well you can't run the thing off the USB drive and that's where your problem is. You have to install it to the hard drive of whatever computer is running FSX as described in the installation instructions here on the forum. It doesn't matter how you download it, it only matters where you install it once you download the file and transfer it to the FSX computer. If you're unable to get the file to copy from the USB drive to your FSX computer's Hard Drive, then it's a problem with the computer and/or USB drive and that needs to be dealt with by a professional in person, not over the web.

All I do is it save the Zipped up file to a USB and then unzip to the desktop and put in the FSX simobjects air plane folder

Then you need to read the install instructions ..... because that is certainly not the way to do it Take a look a one of the tree top-most posts on how to install our aircraft in FSX.

"HJGRULES" .... Dan has actually gone to a lot of trouble of providing some "very good and in-depth" tutorials regarding proper/recommended procedure for the installation of HJG aircraft .... as well as other FSX enhancement too.
There are 2 or 3 manners in which FSX installation of HJG aircraft may be practiced .... all of which work perfectly .... provided that each step of the recommended procedure is adhered to
Each of these tutorials are available on this "FSX SUPPORT" forum page.
P-L-E-A-S-E .... take all the time necessary in order to both thoroughly familiarize yourself with .... and then perform .... each the recommended steps/procedures.
9 times out of 10 times .... in not all the time .... when HJG aircraft do not appeasr within FSX then it´s because the required installation procedures have not been followed/performed correctly.

May I just add, that you should select only one of the approaches. Don't try use a bit from one and a bit from another ... select one that you think sounds most appropriate to you, and follow that one .... If your age indicated is actually correct, then I think you are pretty courageous to try to get on to HJG-aircraft, and I wish you all the best of luck and enjoy flying them.... always nice to have youngsters among us old-timers
