Hello, First - a big hello. Have lurked for years, but thoroughly enjoyed the HJG work immensely. Though I've migrated from FS9 to FSX, I find I still love them just as much in that sim. I prefer 2D panels for airliners, so the whole VC issue was a non-issue from the start. Now my reason for posting: Those familiar with Calclassic will know of Frank Gonzalez. He used to be actively involved in the repainting of FS airliners, and has done a fantastic breadth of work. Most of his work is in propliners, but he has done a few jetliner paints, though. Regrettably due to health reasons, it appears he's out of the painting gig - at least for now. His website, however, shows some lovely jetliner paints, as shown here: tripletails.weebly.com/classic-jetliners.htmlMy question is does anyone have the Pan Am DC-8 Clipper Caroline shown? I never knew these were even on here, until after he became inactive in the FS hobby. If someone knows and can help/share, I'd be much obliged. PM - I can provide email address. Kindest regards, and thanks again for the great models and paints. Daniel

Judging from those screenshots illustrating his webpage .... I recall that this guy made an appearance on our forum sometime last year. I PM´d him regarding the textures he previewed "HERE" (the same ones as appear on that web page) .... which appeared to be fo both HJG and HJG hosted models. I suggested that if he was keen to suupply his work to us then we´d be only too pleased to host it, fully acredited to him, of course .... BUT .... I never, ever, did get a response from him All that aside though .... So far as I´m aware .... none of what´s previewed there has ever been made publicly released anywhere. As I recall .... "IF" I recall correctly .... he statedcwithin his posting (here) that he painted for his own enjoyment. Regarding the PAN AM DC8-30 .... we do have our own version of this texture (an early one by Michael VERLIN .... see our "DC8-30" downloads section), but, I´m not sure if it´s the same aircraft/"Clipper Caroline". I was right .... It "IS" the same guy ("LOCKHEEDLUVR" aka PA GONZALES) whom posted "HERE" around mid year last year .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=screenshots&action=display&thread=4539Strangely .... he seems to have deleted his original posting (the one showing-off his textures) shortly after having presented it .... BUT .... I did, instantly, recognize the very same images/subjects as currently appear on that webpage via the link you´ve provided. Our offer to him still stands .... "IF" he ever wants to consider it .... and then take it up with us, but, I suspect he´s probably more of "private sort of invividual" .... which, I guess, must be respected Mark C BOG/CO

You are right Mark. Frank Gonzalez pulled all his work from all sites,It's a shame he didn't leave them available for posterity sake regards, TheGetter!

I trust your mean he pulled all imagery relating to his works .... because, so far as I know, his actual works/textures have never, ever, been publicly uploaded .... anywhere.

Thanks for the interest. I didn't know if this was even the right section - anyway, glad it sparked some discussion.
Yes, as Mark alluded, he never posted his work up per se - it was a "by request" that you'd get it emailed to you. Thankfully, I've most of what he did that interests me on the prop side of the hangar - but the jet stuff was something I never knew he even did.
Anyway - looks like I/we are all out of luck on this - a shame. Believe me when I say his prop stuff is sheer beauty, so you can at least understand why I'd try to hunt down his jet art.
Thanks for at least posting some replies - and yes, I'm aware of the Pan Am paints extant in the downloads section - those are much appreciated too.
Many kind regards, and blue skies,
Daniel
