Hi Sirs, first, sorry for my english but it is not my mother language but any way after downlaod all the part for the above aircraft I had a problem to charge some gauge with a FS2400 warning, the gauge dont charge in the start of fs is d9sh.gau. I try to downlaod many time the core of the panel but with always the same problem. Please help me to understand this problem because if I put out this gauge the Dc9 works well but without PA. As somebody explain in a other message I check the zip file hjg_dc9-panel-core-files v1.1 and the weight is 8,66MO and not 8,86 that you check few months ago for a problem similar of mine but based on the fact that any gauge appaer after the downloading, Thank for your help.

I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly .... BUT IF I DO .... then I understand you are experiencing an FS2004 warning message concerning the "d9sh.gau" .... and .... you also think there may be a problem with the size of your "DC9 PANEL GUAGES/CORE FILES" package too. Is that correct ? I will try to explain all of this on the basis of what I think I have understood .... If you are getting any FS2004 warning about any DC9 panel gauge file then this means you have not installed the panel files correctly. If your downloaded "DC9 PANELS/GAUGES CORE FILES" package is complete .... and has not been corrupted .... then it should have file size of approximately 8.66 MB. Please remember .... these DC9 panel files are FS2004 compatible only and are not comptible with FSX ... If you follow these next instructions correctly then you will not experience any problems .... 1. The folder named Gauges contains 50 gauges files. Install all of the individual contents of this folder .... all 60 gauge files .... inside your FS2004 "GAUGES" folder. 2. The folder named Modules contains 2 modules files. Be very careful with these 2 files because their FS destination folders are both different .... - Install the "FSound.dll" file (only) inside your FS2004 "MODULES" folder. - Install the "GaugeSound.dll" file (only) inside your "FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9" folder. If this above step is not performed correctly then the panel will not work .... it will cause FS2004 to crash when any HJG DC9 is selected from the MSFS aircraft selection menue. 3. The folder named Sound contains 65 WAV/sound files. Install all of the individual contents of this folder .... all 65 WAV/sound files .... inside your FS2004 "SOUND" folder .... this is the "SOUND" folder that is inside your "FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9" folder and not the Sound folder inside your DC9 Aircraft Base Pack folder. 4. This next step is very important. If it is not performed correctly then you will see an FS2004 warning message (Incompatible Software Warning) each time FS is started .... - Locate your FS9.CFG file .... and copy & paste the following data to this file .... and then "SAVE" this edit .... [OLDMODULES] FSSound.dll=1I hope I have understood you correctly .... and I hope this advice helps fix your particular problem. Mark C BOG/CO

I forgot to mention .... : ;D I did, apparently sort out his DC9 panel problem .... along with some other problems too He, apparently, felt more comfortable comming to me personally/privately .... so .... we solved everything together per PM. I do, really, prefer people posting all of their problems/queries publicly .... "here on these forum pages" .... simply because that, often, helps more people than whom might ask any particular question in the first place .... and from that "everyone" should the benefit in the long run/future NO QUESTION SHOULD EVER BE CONSIDERED A STUPID QUESTION I guess it´s just a matter of "PERSONAL CONFIDENCE" though .... since nobody likes/wants to risk looking or feeling like a fool. Again .... it´s "NO BIG DEAL" though .... at least not from my own perspective at least Mark C BOG/CO
