I remember when these guys moved into 2W, right after BN v.1 went feet-up. With 2W looking like a ghost town, we were happy to have any traffic we could muster. Air 1 did daily to St. Louis...I cannot remember if they went anywhere else from DFW, nor the frequency but it wasn't much. I thought their planes had a real classy look about them at the time. A DC-10 or 1011 would have been very nice in those colors! Just my opinion though -
Would anyone perhaps be interested in painting up one of these 727's some day?
