After all the time since FS2004/FS9 has been out...I'm wondering if somebody has figured out a "workaround" so that the FS9 Microsoft bootdisk can be copied onto the hard drive so that the (now old...it's not gonna last forever...and it's hard on the old disk, as well as the disk drive!!!)...so that the disk can be put in one's desk drawer for safe keeping and the whole process can be "internalized" to one's PC??? This may have been worked out YEARS ago for all that I know? I'd really like some help on this issue if it has been done, how to do it, etc. I surely hope that the answer isn't "No...you just HAVE to have the boot disk in and keep wearing out your old FS9 boot disk that isn't being made any longer and keep wearing out your old disk drive until it, too, shoots the dust." :-( Help!!!
