Hey, everyone I know Texas International has been mentioned on here, both the red / white / blue scheme as well as the purple and grey, from 1969. Before Lorenzo, and before TI, the airline was known as Trans Texas Airways. Better known among passengers as "Trying To Arrive" / "TreeTop Airways" / "Tinker Toy Airways." I had to do some digging, but I found a TTa DC9 from 1966...wearing what she did before the purple and grey days. www.flickr.com/photos/thechickenworks/5408354862/ It would be fantastic to have in the hanger, as the TI collection would then be "complete." I have also often wondered what they would have bought, had they not purchased (and destroyed) CO and just remained Texas International. At DFW, when the story first broke that TI was purchasing CO, everyone thought it was some sort of joke. Anyways, you guys have a good one! James

Aharon,
"Pamper jet" is on the engine covers...
As far as I know, shortly after the red, white and blue scheme was conceived, the "Pamper jet" name was dropped.
