Does any one have plans to create virtual cockpits for fsx for the wonderful historic jetliners. Or can we somehow take them from other fsx planes and install them in the historic jetliners for fsx

With the exception of the FSFT CONCORDE PM2 simulation we currently host "HERE" .... none of the aircraft models we currently represent feature VC panels. "EVERYTHING" we offer here features "HIGH QUALITY" 2D panels only .... and mostly with egually "high quality" interior flightdeck views too, but, we appreciate these side views may not function in FSX. It must be realized that 95% of the models we offer here were produced prior to the time when VC's started becomming available .... or even popular/desirable by some .... and .... it must also be realized too that producing "QUALITY" VC's (if it's not done properly then there's absolutely no point in doing it at all .... in my own personal opinion) requires more work/skill and reference data (time and effort) than most folk can even begin to appreciate ;D That can't be done for FS2004 .... which requires VC specific models .... but .... I understand it may be possible in the case of FSX .... BUT .... likely not without risking violating someone elses copy right .... which HJG "always" avoids ;D SORRY !!!! Mark C AKL/NZ

You can merge the original VC's from... say the B737 which lauches with FSX.... but you'll loose alle the fine-tuned gauge/.air/.cfg relations .... so what you get is a very unrealistic VC in very realistic aircraft, where the gauges may og may not be out of sync with the rest of the aircraft... Personally I prefer the 2D for HJG and 3D for those aircraft equipped with a VC from start... merging one aircraft/developer with another seldom turns out good .... but it is possible, the decision is yours to take .... or not

Don't forget that our new DC8 series will have a VC.

P-L-E-A-S-E .... for the past 12 years it's always been HJG standing policy to not commit to or announce release dates .... and remains so. "EVERYTHING" is ready .... "when it's effectively ready" Thanks for you interest though ! Mark C AKL/NZ

I agree with Mark, just be patient, good things will come. dc8 project is currently on hold as I have some critical dilemas to sort out my end.

You can't add a VC to an FS9 model

I don't think so if it's an FS.9 model
And you'd have to have one that matches all the code
Have you any idea how difficult it is to make a VC?

Each of our 3D aircraft models are primarily FS2004 based .... but .... they do also function OK in FSX too .... so far as I'm aware .... but .... I can't advise, at all, in regard to VC adaptabilility although I suspect it "may not" be possible/a straight forward process.

Thank you for the response, and i appreciate all your good work in this matter. you guys rock!! i'll have to use the current 737-800 panel 2D, and unfortunately, the 2d panels for the DC-9 are not compatible for fsx. Hope that in the near future this beautifull airplanes can have nice virtual flight decks and 2D panels for FSX.
