I have just downloaded at the revised DC-9s and their respective panels and sound. I understand how to install all of it with relation to panels, sounds, and even the models etc., but how do you know which version of the JT8D engines go with which airline and/or livery? Can anyone tell me. Thanks

You can actually use "any" DC9 AIRCRAFT TYPE TEXTURE with any of their corresponding DC9 AIRCRAFT TYPE BASE PACKS .... as follows .... Just be sure to use DC9-10F SERIES TEXTURES (includes 14/15/CF/F/RC versions) with DC9-10F SERIES AIRCRAFT BASE PACKS "only" .... and .... DC9-30F SERIES TEXTURES (includes 31/32/33/34/CF/F/RC versions) with DC9-30F SERIES AIRCRAFT BASE PACKS "only" .... otherwize you'll risk ending up with model/texture combinations without their animated forward fuselage maindeck cargo doors. "IF" you want absolutely authentic aircraft texture aircraft base pack/engine type configurations/combinations .... then "technically speaking" .... you should, really, do your own research .... possibly aided by a MCDONNELL-DOUGLAS DC9 PRODUCtION LIST (available on the web) .... simply because it's not practical for me/us to list "every individual texture according to it's correct aircraft type/engine type assignmernt. HOWEVER .... "IF" you'll list (below) each one of the aircraft texture you're intending to install .... in the order of their "aircraft type, airline livery, and aircraft registration" (PLEASE NOTE: Each of these 3 details are "essential" in this quest) .... then I'll be happy to further assist/advise you (precisely), but, it'll need to be done at "my own convenience" .... of course ALWAYS REMEMBER .... the essential differences between each of these DC9 simulations is weight and power (which is why it's vital to get base pack and panel combinations/assignments right), and also flight tuning too .... all in the interests of performance fidelity .... "whilst also bearing in mind certain FS limitations too of course" ! Mark C AKL/NZ
