Hi All,
Recently installed the HJG L-1011 model, looks great but I have one small issue when using the autopilot. I take off and get up to cruise altitude and set the autopilot for my long haul. Set the sim acceleration to x16 and the aircraft starts oscillating up and down quite dramatically. Set the acceleration back to x4 and it smooths out.
Any idea's as how to fix this?
I am using FSX acceleration on windows7/64bit
Thanks in advance.

This sort of experience can be a known consequence of using the FS time acceleration/compression mode .... with some panels/simulations.
I don't recall this issue being previously reported by anyone in regard to our L1011 simulations, but, I'm pretty sure what you're reporting is probably being caused by such as I've suggested above.
This only way to avoid it .... that I'm know of .... is to simply "not" use the FS time acceleration/compression mode.
Some panel/gauge programming simply "does not" like it.

The Autopilot tries all it's best to compensate for impacts in pitch and roll while you cruise along with 16x300 = 4800 KIAS .....(!) I guess a bit of oscillating is alright then, don't you think?
I'm actually quite amazed that it manage to find it's place again when you reduce the time compression... quite a remarkable programming I think!

This has been reported many times over the years on lots of online forums and, IIRC, is FSX-specific. FS2004 doesn't do the same thing?
I don't use time acceleration because I love the long-hauls ... and the VAs I fly don't accept time-warped flight hours.
