I was finally able to resolve the issue by uninstalling FSUIPC, installing the latest drivers for my Saitek controllers, and then reinstalling FSUIPC.
At first I tried updating my controller drivers without uninstalling/reinstalling FSUIPC, but that caused all sorts of issues with some controls not responding properly... So it would appear that there was some issue between my controllers and FSUIPC... Funny that the symptoms only showed up with the L1011.
Anyway, I'm back in business, and happy that the Lockheed is flying beautifully.
Thanks for everyone's help!

FSUIPC won't.likely. be the "direct cause" of his experience (by virtue of it just being installed and with minmum unlicensed/default (only) settings enabled .... and nothing else I mean) .... since, as I mentioned earlier within this thread, it "IS" a vital component of these L1011 panels .... "IF ONE WANTS A WEATHER RADAR THAT ACTUALLY WORKS" and since it won't/can't function, at all, without out FSUIPC. I too have "never" experienced any difficulty with this particular module .... installed as I have it with unlicenced/default "MiNIMUM" options enabled. However .... FSUIPC could possibly cause an experience such as he reported .... "IF" it's not correctly installed .... or more appropriately .... "IF"some controller devices, or other FS parameters which can be manipulated through its use, are improperly tied/linked or otherwise out of synchronization. I can, then, possibly, begin to understand his experience. "THIS" (what's been reported within this thread) has never been known/reported to occur previously (that i can immediately recall), BUT, HJG is, now, aware of it .... SO ..... thanks "PLABBE77" .... fo bothering to keep this group/community updated/informed as to your troubleshoorting progress It's good to get that sort of feedback .... "for once".Mark C AKL/NZ
