Hola Camilo, Muy buenas tus pinturas. Excellent work. Te queria escribir porque baje tu pintura del Caravelle Cruzeiro do Sul 1970, para Allied FS Group Te comento que yo vole mucho el Caravelle de Cruzeiro do Sul, el Cruzeiro (nuevo), Varig y Aerolineas Argentinas. Pero te equivocastes, en 1970, la pintura de Cruzeiro do Sul no es esa, te mando una foto aqui. Lo que pintastes fue la de Cruzeiro (nueva). Tengo lindas memorias de Cruzeiro do Sul viejo, porque el atendimiento era muy bueno, pero hay pocas fotos. Es una pena que faltan dos pinturas importantes para el AFG Caravelle, Cruzeiro do Sul y Aerolineas Argentinas. Saludo grande! Kapitan  |

I HAVE MOVED THE FOLLOWING REQUEST (by "KAPITAN") TO THIS FORUM PAGE AND WHERE IT IS BETTER PLACED .... AS A REPAINT REQUEST ....What "KAPITAN" is communicating here (above) is "basically" as follows .... Your (Camilo's in this case) textures are very good. Excellent work. I am writing because I have downloaded your (Camilo's) 1970 CRUZEIRO DO SUL textures for the AFG CARAVELLE I fly the CRUZEIRO DO SUL, VARIG, and AEROLINEAS ARGENTIANAS CARAVELLE's a lot. But the 1970 livery for CRUZEIRO was not this (he/"KAPITAN" means the pre 1970 livery). I am sending a photo here. Those that you have painted are the new (post 1970) CRUZEIRO liveries. I have fond memories of CRUZEIRO pbecause they were very attentive but have few photos. It is a pitty that 2 important CARAVELLE textures are mising .... CRUZEIRO DO SUL (pre 1970) and AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS. **************************************** I'll respond to "KAPITAN" .... on Camilo's behalf .... because this request is actually something that Camilo and I have been looking at (in fact we even started it a little while back) together .... Camilo and myself .... on 2 seperate occasions over the past 2 years .... have nearly represented the early CRUZEIRO livery (precise colours, engine logos, and font matching for this particular livery era have proved difficult to obtain), but, we have ended up shelving this project each time .... in favor of other priorities. .... In respect of AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS ....  PHOTO: Christian VOLPATIThis particular subject hasn't been considered, but, an AEROLINEAS ARGENTIAS CARAVELLE 3 is always a possibility.... BUT RATHER .... a possibility that's best be left up to Camilo to consider of course. See what happens in the future  Mark C AKL/NZ

Dear Mark (and Camilo if he reads this) Thank you very much for your atention on this request. Im delighted just to read that yourself and Camilo have even considered the possibility of these repaints. I flew the caravelle as a kid twice a year on holidays from ages 8 to 20 years old. 1968 to 1980. So I rememebr well how anxious as a kid I was to sit on the triangular window. So these vivid memories are good proof of the following: Cruzeiro do Sul with colors shown above flew until 1974. Thats why "do Sul" applies only to old paints. Camilo and myself were taklking about this again the other day .... and subsequent to your request. We will "TRY" to look at each these 2 subjects (one was actually started a wee while back but then mothballed for other priorities) .... BUT ....
