:)Hi, could we perhaps see tail number 8877 as tribute to the crew lost last week please? Would it interfere with the authenticity of having a livery that technically no longer exists?

(I know this isn't the forum for this either but I keep getting a super shiny texture bad alpha looking issue with the current McConnell livery you guys made. Beautiful nonetheless)

Not without pictures .... AND THEN .... it's a matter of it just "appealing first" to someone with the interest and ability to be able/want do it

Specifically .... which individual aircraft type textuire are you talking about here .... AND .... which FS version are you using it within ?

If it ever existed, it's authentic, if it never did then it's not...simple as that.

All he's trying to communicate is ....

Does HJG have a policy against painting any aircraft that has, effectively, been "written-off" .... since some groups do, in fact, exercises a policy of not replicating any accident aircraft subjects.

In direct response to your question "MISSIONRECON" ....

"NO" .... it wouldn't be a problem .... subject to (a) "good" reference pictures of the actual aircraft subject first being provided (as "DARRENVOX" comments .... this's a recommended, if not mandatory, requirement .... which the individual requesting any subject must, themselves, attend to rather than imposing upon HJG staff) .... and (b) someone with the ability to represent any such request first harboring sufficient "interest" in it to actually "want" to do it on the basis of it first appealing to them" ..... and which is the overriding factor in the case of any individual repaint request as I, myself, implied above.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I was referring to the aircraft that crashed recently in Kyrgyzstan. Pictures below.

It was a Fairchild AFB tanker in the top photo, then it was re-assigned not recently to McConnell AFB. When I mentioned authenticity I was unsure whether or not an HJG product had to be a functioning current livery then I remembered what the H stood for. My mistake.

Also, with that whole shiny texture thing it was just an Alpha thing with FSX. I removed it and now its pretty kosher. Remains to be seen whether or not anything else was affected visually by the mod.

Aaannd, I tried playing around with the AR panel bitmap on the other McConnell AFB livery (KC135 RT texture "Keeper of the Plains") so it blends into the fuselage a bit more. I wont redistribute, scouts honor.

Look forward to your hardwork as always. Love the site guys thanks for everything. Even if this isn't a priority tasking I still appreciate the work you artists put out.
