Hello Folks, I'm an old-school FS9 2D panel guy. The older I get it seems I need more panel lighting when flying at night. Here's a tiny adjustment I found on some other forum, years ago. By adjusting the RGB night color settings in the panel config, you can cast a bit more light on the DC-9-50 panel. BEFORE:
AFTER:
This was done by changing the stock Night settings from this:
Day=255,255,255 Night=49,25,20 Luminous=204,166,131
To this:
Day=255,255,255 Night=127,57,4 Luminous=204,166,131
Back to flying this amazing freeware!

Well, this is embarrassing. I posted this thread from my flightsim computer at home, and my night panel is so dark I only see lighted gauges. This morning I'm at work and see that the panel lighting in my "BEFORE" picture looks great. That may explain why I'm having all these night lighting problems. I'll need to trouble shoot my settings at home.
Oh well, it's not my first mistake.
