Hi Tony,
yes, of course I saw the date when the liveries were made. Nevertheless they were great (and still are!), but after I downloaded the Caravelle with AUA-Livery (High Quality) I was really surprised by its appearence-it looked so real!
Just take your time.
Greetings Hermann

Nice photos of the LH fleet Hermann. Herman Yes, I think that too These pics are from an austrian Aviation Site. Tony: Referring the AUA 707,could you try it, please? I´m sorry, but I have absolutely no skills in painting by myself nor do I know anyone else on HJG who paints.

I think it´s something along the lines of "artistic" editing (beyond what´s available by default within the PSD´s) of the type that results in more of a "natural metal look" that he´s suggesting.
Probably a bit of a "BIG ASK" really .... since, so far as I´m saware, only the AMERICAN AIRLINES and AEROCONDOR COLOMBIA B707/720 subjects (mostly) .... among a few others by the same 2 artists .... feature anything like this.

Hello, I would wish(if it is possible for you) a similar quality of the painting as it was done with the AUA-livery for the Caravelle, using dynamic shine, reflective textures(or something like that). Again, I have no experience in painting and so I don´t know what is possible with the model and what not. If you mean that you can "only" add some shine I would be glad about that too Hermann

Mark C BOG/COL I love to take off at sunrise where the early sunlight reflects on the plane´s surface, it looks great in my opinion, especially when you fly a vintage plane. I don´t know much about the effort and the possibilities to create such a livery. I didn´t mean to demand impossibilities, only some improvement (if possible) to sharper colors and maybe reflections. There´s never any harm in asking/querying .... of course .... and I´m not implying it can´t be done (subject to someone first wanting to "GIVE IT A GO"), but, it would, likely, require someone of "EXCEPTIONAL SKILL" to be able to produce, for the HJG B707/720 .... and other models, natural metal textures approaching anything like the quality of that represented on each the AFG CARAVELLE subjects. It´s, probably, important to realise/understand that the CARAVELLE project wasn´t developed by HJG, but rather, it´s a solely AFG production .... in conjunction with both Benoit GAURANT and Rui CRISTINA .... and which HJG hosts/offers "by consent" only. All I´m really trying to say here is .... it´s, possibly, wrong to make comparisons between the finishing of the 2 products Each of the CARAVELLE´s hosted by HJG was painted using the official AFG PSD files for each aircraft type .... and these files do, most certainly, offer a superior/entirely different concept/treatment of natural metal finishing (their PSD files having been developed by a real master) of the like that´s not offered per any of the current HJG PSD´s. In fact the closest to this (the CARAVELLE natural metal finishing) that could, probably, be achieved (for HJG B707/720 .... and other aircraft) is, maybe, something "along the lines of" that which each of the 2 artists responsible for HJG´s AMERICAN AIRLINES and AEROCONDOR COLOMBIA (and other subjects by these same 2 artists also) B707/720 subjects have used .... as I mentioned earlier on Mark C BOG/CO

Hello Mark, thank you for your clarification. I didn´t know that the Caravelle-Project was developed by a HJG-Independent production. Maybe it would be possible to make the livery-quality of the AUA 707 like the "1986 - OE-LDG - DC-9-32"? Hermann

Once again .... even in regard to DC9 texturing it could be wrong to make such comparisons .... or even expect such similarities too. PSD differences .... along with artist skill level too (careful and fine/balanced manipulation of alpha channels etc) .... can be, and often are, the defining factor in regard to these sorts of request, and in particular, in regard to what can, and can´t, be easily achieved. To cut short what could, otherwise, become an unnecessarily long thread .... Let´s just leave it entirely up to the person concerned .... to persue both "WHENEVER" and "HOWEVER" he see´s fit to do so .... and "IF" at all Mark C BOG/COL
