FYI .... CARAVELLE 3, -6, and -6N subjects (only) are possibilities .... but .... no CARAVELLE 10B subjects can, yet, be addressed .... for lack of the appropriate 3D model. Of the later CARAVELLE series aircraft (beyond the -6N and -6R) only the -10B1 .... also known as the -10R .... can be considered at this time. Mark C BOG/COL

Hi Arne and Mark,
although I'm a bit confused by the aircraft-type description of D-ABAP, I think she's a Caravelle 10R (which is available at HJG) and D-ABAF is a Caravelle III.
I would like to see both LTU-Caravelles, too. But I know that it depends if the painters find them attractive enough to paint.

Actually .... I must concede that you "ARE" actually right. That 2nd livery is, indeed, a -10B1/10R. Assisting the running of "an extremely high pressure" business from here (in Colombia) .... with constant interruptions .... whilst briefly looking (rushing) at the text associated with that particular photo I, somehow, read it a -10B rather than a -10B1/10R. There are some considerable differnces among the CARAVELLE models (and not all of these have yet been suplied to HJG) .... particularly in regard to the later production versions like the -10B, 11R, and -SUPER 12 series aircraft. SO THEN AND IN SHORT .... it "IS" quite practical to be able to be do this/these particular subjects, but, your own conclusion (above) basically sums up "the situation" quite appropriately in regard to subjects first needing to appeal to these to with the ability to be able to represent them to actually want to do so. I´ve done a number of CARAVELLE´s myself (assisted by someone else) and both of these LTU´s, among others too, were intended by me .... BUT .... over the past year I´ve had to take on new/far greater realworld responsibilities which have now also seen me, desirably, wanting to reduce my public FS time .... albeit whilst also still attending to a "PRIVATE" (non-HJG) FS project of my own (just taking my time and cruising along with it) as a hobby .... along with attending to another 2 prospective HJG projects too (as I can) and so long as I can continue (with the appropriate assistance also) to progress/"BASH" the known major bugs out of these as well. See what happens in the future Mark C BOG/CO

No problem Mark. We all are humans and we all aren't perfect. Also I'm a bit flattered by your post. Thank you for it. Now I only hope that some painters will find the LTU-paints attractive enough. I won't push anybody, since I know here at HJG the motto is: 'It's done, when it's done.' Klaus

I have never painted the Caravelle, once I have finished the ones I am looking at I will take a look at the paintkit etc and see if I can do anything with it

That sounds nice Tony. I'm sure that you will deliver a nice Caravelle-paint, if you can handle the Caravelle-paintkit. Klaus

They´re complex PSD´s (as well as being quite "SUPERB" too) .... but .... they´re really not all that difficult .... based on my own experience with them over the past couple of years.
