Ok, so maybe this query is not appropriate here, but I have a need for the orginal defualt FSX Beech_King_Air_350 Aircraft cfg file. I don't want to reinstall FSX over the top as I have changed so many things and don't want a conflict, since I have it humming along quite nicely. I have tried to Explore the installation discs but can't find the individual A/C files. Is there a way to find those from the discs? Or can someone send me the cfg file via my e-mail address of woolybugger@charter.net?

Yikes!
Did something potty on your original? I'm sorry to hear about that, Falcon.
FS9 user here, so I really can't help you but I am curious if you have any idea what could have happened, to corrupt the original file? These sorts of things fascinate me.
Hope someone can help you out!

Actually James, I corrupted it by not saving the original cfg file (thought I'd backed it up) and I changed some things to increase the TAS to a real King Air 350, and to soften the pitch. Things got out of hand and it is really out of hand now. My own fault. I have many King Air models that have been corrected to fly closer to the real thing, even with Air cfg editing, and I always make sure to back it up. HJG aircraft however are so close as FS can be that I don't touch them!!!! Falcon
PS: Aahron, what are you testing?

I can´t assist either .... BUT .... just a bit of good general FS advice .... Before editing any FS file or making any other change too .... it always pays to make a back up copy of original/virgin file/folder "FIRST" .... and then store that (these) within a separate holding folder (created for this purpose) right outside and away from FS. I do this routinely in regard to CFG files .... and even complete principle FS folders too .... so that, in the event of any "BALLS-UP", or, should I otherwise simply not be satisfied with the edit/upgrade I´ve applied .... THEN .... I can always/easily restoire/reinstate the original configuration and everything´s "back to normal" again. Mark C BOG/CO

Hello Falcon;
I have the Kingair 350 FSX aircraft file. I also like you have made changes to the cfg file like youself to soften the aircrafts pitch responses, but have not changed anything else. I recall the original values were all 1.0000. If you want me to send you the aircraft folder let me know.
Herman
ps; I also have this folder in FS9 and from what I see I did not make any changes at all to the aircraft cfg.

Herman, if you could just send the A/C cfg file that will suffice. I also had changed the prop pitch and playen withthe scaler settings etc. I would appreciate it. Yes Mark, I always ALWAYS have FSX backed up on my external HD. But, for some strange reason, I backed up that aircraft on it after I made some changes I don't want. Sometimes my Brain just skips some......................... Thanks Guys. Falcon
