This is for the painters....I think i asked this before....on the DC-8 texture maps...where is the exterior of the main gear doors located. Having a bit of trouble with that AGAIN Trying to get belly metal and door colors to match. I have an idea but I know this has come up before and Im tired of painting colored dots to find it!!!!

They are pretty much the bottom line of the main fuselage texture, if you look at one of the older ones painted you will see the colour change. Any problems let me know and I will try and post a pic or two

For all painters who are interested... If you're talking about the inboard clam-shell doors, their exterior is properly matched to whichever fuselage section that is, I think it's F3 (?). I tried to make it idiot proof so there wouldn't need to be any special texture and cross texture color matching necessary.

The only issue really is some of us add shading to the textures and the reality is that the bottom half of those textures never get wrapped around the bottom of the fuselage. So you just need to figure out which piece of the F3 bitmap needs to be nearly identical to the upper half or so of the bottom of the fuselage. I found it on two of my repaints of the -50. No big deal, but if you havent done it in a while it takes a bit to re-figure it out
