The odd thing about this particular texture issue is .... "IF" it/what you'reporting (and I'm not suggesting that what you're reporting is erroneous) was an "FSX specific" texture/graphics issue .... then I'd expect it to be revealed on the JAL DC8 texture also .... and more-so considering this and the UNITED texture were both produced by the very same HJG texture artist. It's just that I've never heard of any such issue (that I recall) ever being reported over the past more than 6 years. Sometimes (and I'm not suggesting this actually applies in your particular case) such issues can be the result of certain graphics cards .... and their settings. PLEASE NOTE .... I offer the above advice as a "SUGGESTION" and for "CONSIDERATION" only .... rather than implying it's definitely the cause in yiour particular case. Can any other FSX user confirm what "TNGJSTN" is reporting .... in respect of "blacked out DC8-50 windshields and engine nacelle interiors" .... "in FSX" ?"TNGJSTN" .... kindly confirm .... please .... which of the 2 particular HJG DC8-50 3D models you currently have your affected DC8-50 texture/s assigned to .... and might also be "QUITE HELPFUL" as well Mark C AJKL/NZ

"SORRY" Jim .... looks like we collided .... in that you were able to reply whilst i wass still trying to do so "TNGJSTN" .... what Jim sais is actually "quite relevent" .... in that you really need to provide us with a better FS image in order to more properly analyse your problem. Consider doing so .... please. In the meantime .... here's my own screenshot of the same UNITED DC8-52 texture .... albeit in FS2004, but, which reveals no texture relasted details of any concern .... You .... perhaps .... need to be aware of the fact that whilst the majority of HJG offerings do indeed work fine in FSX .... it does also still need to be borne-in-mind that HJG is a, predomenently, FS2004 website too. Never mind. I fixed the resolution problems using the SP2.
