I'm not an expert, but I think it's a Caravelle VI-R (big cockpit-windows and the 'thin' RR Avon engines with thrust-reservers). It's no Caravelle III for sure due the different size and shape of the cockpit-windows and RR Avon engines.
The later Caravelle-variants had P&W JT8D engines which had a bigger diameter and a different shape than the RR Avon engines of the earlier Caravelle-variants. Therefor it must be a VI-R.

Well thanks for the info. So does this fit for HJG's Caravelles?

If it's a CARAVELLE 6R .... then it "DOES" .... but .... it just has to "appeal" to someone with the ability to be able to do it in order to be represented here at all Mark C AKL/NZ

I bet this would be beautifully painted by HJG's talented repainters.

Hahahahaha . Maybe you can try to paint it sometime or another. The Air france caravelle by the way has really good paints on it.

I do actually have another "EARLIER" variation of AIR FRANCE livery .... for the CARAVELLE 3 .... and which will be added to this particular virtual flightline per a future HJG website update.
