The tail logo (as appears on the VARIG example above) might be a bit "CHALLENGING" .... but .... at the end ogf the day, and "IF" anyone's interested, then it's probably a case of "THESE" (since there's more than one aircraft involved here) rather than "this" only B707-399C N106BV BUFFALO AIRWAYS (1985 ex TAP/AIR PORTUGAL) .... with Stage 2 hush-kits (uses B707-320C S2HK model) B707-341C N107BV BUFFALO AIRWAYS (1991 ex VARIG CARGO) .... with Stage 2 hush-kits (uses B707-320C S2HK model) B707-323C N108BV BUFFALO AIRWAYS (1990) .... with Stage 2 hush-kits (uses B707-323C S2HK model) They did operate other B706-320C's too, but, these 3 appear to be some of their more-or-less (because most were leased/sub leased anyway) definitive liveried aircraft .... featuring either titles or tail logo or both. I really like the top picture. The passenger version with the blue and red stripes. Hi RAM1220. Its actually a green and red stripe left over from its TAP days. Photo is rather washed out. Here is the missing N105BV. www.delcampe.net/page/item/id,255908728,var,BOEING-707--BUFFALO-AIRWAYS--N105BV,language,D.html You will need to cut and paste this link to get it to work. Paul

Pays not to push it. Ask ("SUGGEST" really) by all means .... and then leave it at that At the end of the day this/these, like any other request/suggestion, have to actually "APPEAL" to those with the ability to do it/them. Interest and contribution "APPRECIATED" though .... because it has been "INTERESTING" Mark C AKL/NZ

Mark, I think he's speaking of the fact that Buffalo Airways was owned/operated by Farhad Azima, who's previous airline was Global International Airways which was a front for the CIA and shutdown after being linked to the Iran-Contra operations. However, Buffalo Airways (who probably did still deal with the CIA) did a lot of "white" work as well and was a "Certificate of Record" for several Aviation Leasing Group leasing transactions in its later days of operations (ALG being another Azima operation). It was also the final operator to actually fly the CL-44-O "Skymoster" prior to "selling" it to ALG. www.airliners.net/photo/Buffalo-Airways/Canadair-%28Conroy%29-CL-44-O/0165931/M/

"B727MAN" .... I've edited the last part of your commentary out of your posting .... since it's considered "inapropriate".
We're an "FS hobby" forum here rather than a medium for the airing personal, or industrial, gripes and snipes .... regardless how valid/well founded individuals might feel these to be.
Contact me directly (per forum PM/Private Mail) should you wish to discuss the matter.
