I said I'd do the previous owner of N8781R... well I did but decided to do sister 8780 instead in the end... SO here she is, N8780R circa 1962, named James Roy But then I stated working on the logo... there are NO off aircraft versions of this logo anywhere I can find, no timetables, ads or anything, making mapping it much more difficult. TCA only used it on N8780R and N8781R. But finally got it done to my satisfaction... I will be adding one more TCA paint... N8782R is already underway with the flag tail... its a -54CF like most of the TCA fleet.

They aren't in my reference photos for 8782 or 8780 (or in the pic of 8781 you provided either) so no, and if you ever find a GE powered (not counting CFM) DC-8, let me know And Eastern only bought 8780 and 8781, 8782 and the rest were merged into American in 71.
