The original eric cantu models have wing flex, but the hjg ones don't. I'm using fs9.

The original models, by Erick CANTU, are "these ones" .... and "NOTHING" has changed at all. We can't change anything anyway .... because we "DO NOT" have a GMAX modeller .... as I've already stated within another posting within the past 24 hours. If no wing-flex is represented, then, it wasn't there to start with .... and that being the case, then, I think it's a "relatively minor issue" indeed "ERICK CANTU" models (thank you) .... "NOT HJG's" .... since we/HJG don't own these and host them here only by a form of "mutual consent". Mark C AKL/NZ

They do have wingflex except for the DC-10-10 model. I read somewhere that the SGA DC-10 was the first model (freeware, possibly payware too) to have winglex in FS, and that was achieved by Erick Cantu manually as opposed to having help with special developer software! Must have been a lot of work. I was just flying it yesterday on approach to Kelowna through turbulence and was once again impressed by the realism of the flex, much better than most newer models.
I'm very glad this bird has found a home at HJG. Thanks guys!

Erick achieved many great things for the FS community .... BUT .... as much as one provides for the pleasure of any community, then, more often than not, the more some elements within that community tend to want .... or even expect/demand. It's just sad .... and a great loss to our hobby also .... that he departed .... BUT .... given what some (and it's always an over-expectant and unappreciative few) subjected him to .... THEN .... who can honestly blame him Mark C AKL/NZ

I surely miss him at Virtual Eastern which was the place where I discovered much of his works (A300, L-1011, and the Boeing 727, all of them high quality freeware models). However, my commendations to the HJG Team for hosting and fine tuning Erick's work!
