Most probably already half of these, if not all, are done, waiting for a 2015 post with some updated liveries or from the stock already available
I was wondering also if there is any chance to see a MD-10 ?

Hi Matt,

As soon as I opened the DC-10 pages, I saw the source of the base files here on HJG. I started searching the Internet. Many of the texture requests you've requested have been done in amazing detail already. I've been finding many of these textures on Flightsim.com and Avsim.com. The SGA repaints people made from about 2004 forward are absolutely compatible and will work with HJG's modified base files with minor modifications to the FLTSIM.X entries you copy-and-paste over from the downloaded file. I hope I haven't told any secrets. The only DC-10 textures I haven't been able to find anywhere on Flightsim or Avsim are the Continental Globe and United Battleship (at least, not in a usable form).

That's correct "to a point" .... BUT .... its not entirely right either

It's true that all previously released textures for Erick CANTU's FFX and/or SGA released DC10 model versions will fit the 3D models currently hosted by HJG .... HOWEVER .... as I mentioned among replies to the recent website update announcement, any number of such previously released textures included within this HJG release have actually been editted and/or corrected/improved .... or have become the base for further expansion in order to represent other livery themes/options relating to a particular airline/operator.

What I'm actually saying here (try to at least) is this ....

In respect of any apparently previously released textures/liveries .... those versions of these currently hosted by HJG are "the most" up-to-date if not "accurate" versions of these currently available.

In respect of other textures .... including some of the above suggestions also .... HJG artists often like to do/redo "their own" versions of these for reasons of either personal interest and/or representing these subjects per their own preferred texturing methodologies.

Many/Most of the DC10 liveries so far requested ,or suggested, among postings that have so far appeared on this REPAINT REQUESTS forum page have actually been done/redone/or otherwise edited/improved by HJG. Some of these will be previewed in due course .... whilst others won't be and in the interest of maintaining some element of future "SURPRISE"

"Before the end of 2015" .... we/HJG hope to be able offer a selction of DC10 liveries which exceeds the quantity of those currently represented by us for the L1011 .... and that's not including other upgrades and expansions for these simulations too .... along with other new project and upgrades we're also, at the moment, "conmtemplating" releasing (all going welll) within this same period.

Hello hello,
First of all: Happy new year everyone !

So, like Mark mentioned here, I only posted suggestions, most of the time, I don't have requests, it's only liveries that I find interesting to see in our HJG hangar.
Also, I've read in another post, and like he said here again, some liveries are already available, while others will be redone or, even better, improved !

That's also why I finished my post saying that most probably half of the suggestions, if not all, might already be done in fact
