Paul, If there's one ai aircraft model that is desperately needed it is the L1011. Thanks for the time and effort you put into this project. Michel-YUL Hi Michael. No problem. I love the L1011, so it was only a matter of time before I made an AI version of it. I did make a completely new low poly version years ago, but that just did not do the plane justice, so is still on my hard drive somewhere never to see the light of day. Paul

...Before I retire, I intend to compile the worldwide OAG for Spring 1977 that I have. ... I began that too, way back when, but it almost killed me. My OAG is from about the same time so I know what task you are up against... I wish you luck though, and you can be sure that I will be the first to get it or even test it for you .... :-)

It's a hell of a lot of work, plus all the inconsistences and errors make it frustrating. Still it will keep me out of mischief for a decade or two Paul

The images above in the BA scheme with the bad fitting textures, are of the 500 development aircraft. At the moment, the TriStar is back in the hanger awaiting its turn to be made ready for use. The DC-8's are currently the only model being worked on and things are moving along at a good pace. Paul PS, Glad that you like it so far.

Hi All. Been lax in posting updates, so I'll correct that now. All the DC-8-61 & 61F textures have been completed and uploaded. The base files have also been uploaded and include a door less version as well. Before I start on the DC-8-50 texture sets, I've been busy working the 707 main models for future completion. Think you'll find the term "water wagon" mostly applied to the B707-120, -138, and DC8-11, -12 aircraft .... since they're the ones which required water/methanol injection to boost T/O engine thrust .... and is what also resulted in their signiture heavy smoke effects on T/O. The later B707 and DC8 models could, apparently, be water injected too .... BUT .... seldom were .... if ever .... so far as I'm aware. BUT ANTWAY .... what you've previewed here, so far, looks "ABSOLUTELY GREAT" .... and is "A CREDIT TO YOU" Paul Mark C AKL/NZ

The 320 is listed as a water buffalo on the tech sheets, but as you said, they probably bid not need it at most airports. I used to see them regularly, but cannot remember how they smoked now. TAP 727-100's were never modified, so did quite a good impression of 720's by the amount of smoke that they left. |Nothing rivals the Convairs though Attachment DeletedTAP 727-100 Attachment DeletedNot for getting these. KC-135Q back in the early 80's at the Hall. Attachment DeletedCaravelle 10's could also smoke well. Air Mali on lease to CTA, again early 90's. Paul
