Hello guys. I've been simming seriously since 2010 and have been using HJG products from 2011 by way of Air France Virtual Airlines Fleet installer packages. Later i began downloading models, panels, paints and sounds individually from the website so as to accurately depict an airliner i want to fly. I have to say your aircrafts are some of the best freewares out there; maybe even better than payware. I've fallen in love with vintage jets because of you. I have used HJG's BAe146, B707, B727, SE210, CV880, CV990, DC-8, DC-9, L1011, MD80 and DC10. I was in the B707-320 programme at Air France Virtual and I used to fly 707 flights for days using the INS or radio navigation in USA. The 707 was super. My favourite HJG products are the DC-9(i love it), B707 and DC-10(it looks menacing ). I've visited the forums quite often for help in using panels but never registered or made a post also because i had taken a 2 year break from fs(2013-2015) at the peak of my fs flying. Now well, i won't be talking to you guys for long as i am going back to my job for 6 months. I am a deck cadet in the merchant navy. So i had to say this now. Thank you Team HJG from the bottom of my heart for all these awesome aircrafts, panels, sounds you have made for FS. I'll keep using them as long as i sim. Cyriac

Thanks "JOSCRIAC" .... of all the comments we, occasionally, read about peoples enjoyment HJG simulations, its these sorts of acknowledgements that (to me) mean the most .... simply because it more than justifies the (untold) hours of effort we apply in order to compile, and eventually release, what we offer, for everyones "fREE" enjoyment.

HJG is really good. I am retired USAF, having flown T-38s, C-135E, AWACS 707, and the lesser known TC-18 at Tinker AFB OK. The aircraft are genuine. I regularly flew the AWACS 1407 tail number that you have listed --- back in the 1980's, and instructed others in both of the TC-18s, which were originally from TWA. For the end user, someone unsophisticated like me, I wish it were easier to download an entire aircraft in one step -- like on the simviation site -- that's easy. The HJG site -- one really has to pay attention to get one going -- but when you do -- it's great!

Downloading the files the way we handle them gives people the option of base file married to their favourite sounds and panels that match that particular plane and the liveries. If we went for one massive download it would be huge covering all the liveries, panels and sound variations

Correctly said Mr.Madge. Like last week i wanted to fly the KLM DC-9-32. I found out they used JT8D-7 engines. So i could download the -7 model and -7 panel. Today i wanted to fly the JAT DC-9-32 which used JT8D-9 engines. So i could download the -9 model and -9 panel. That is the best part about HJG aircraft. Its heavily customizable. This is why i love it.

I would also add to what Tony mentioned. While the HJG aircraft are in some sense "customizable", the real reason there are separate packs for say the DC-9-32 with 2 different engine types is that the FDE is also tuned, sometimes in very subtle ways, to the different configurations. Getting these subtle variations as close as possible in the sim to the real variations is why it takes Mark and I Sooo looooong to produce updates, such as the DC8's that Mark mentioned recently.
