Then .... VR-HKC which was an ex BOAC 336B (standard -320B ADV) .... and VR-HKK which was an ex BOAC -366C (standard -320C) .... both of which were originally built to BOAC/BA specifications. Mark I'm having a very hard time tracking down images of this aircraft sporting the reg OR even Cathay livery. Rgds Ben

BUGGER !!!! I see what´s happened/I see what I´ve done I´ve "COCKED-IT-UP" agauin Ben When reading the BOEING production list I read "all" of the "VR-" registrations .... of which their were a total of 17. However .... having now rechecked once again I see only 13 of these aircraft (all B707-351B SCD´s and B707-351C´s) were ever operated by CX .... as follows :- B707-351B SCD (4X aircraft .... all ex NW and operated by CX)
VR-HHG VR-HHI VR-HGN VR-HGOB707-351C (9X aircraft .... all ex NW and operated by CX)
VR-HGP VR-HGQ VR-HGR VR-HGU VR-HHB VR-HHD VR-HHE VR-HHJ VR-HHLIt looks like the remaining 4 "VR-" registered aircraft were never operated by CX .... as follows .... VR-HKC (B707-336B .... ex BOAC G-AXXY .... later converted to pure freighter and operated by AIR HONG KONG)
VR-HKK (B707-336C .... ex BOAC G-AVLT .... later converted to pure freighter and operated by AIR HONG KONG)
VR-HKL (B707-321C .... ex PAN AM N457PA .... later converted to pure freighter and operated by AIR HONG KONG)
VR-HTC (B707-330C .... ex LUFTHANSA D-ABUA later converted to pure freighter and operated by TRANSCORP "Kong Kong Kowloon Freighter") .... I think the same aircraft also later saw service on behalf of ANSETT and was operated in TNT livery **** I don´t think we have either of these two within the HJG inventory either ****Sorry about that Ben .... my cockup The above list is now "CORRECT" this time (3rd time lucky as they say) .... and the earlier listings now edited (once again) and corrected also.
