Was going to do this one when I was with HJG before but I simply dont have the time. Anyone hip to doing this ole scheme, just like the one on the 707 that was just uploaded. www.airliners.net/open.file/0719434/L/Now for the ICX birdie, two variations on this one out of a possibility of three, which I cant locate just yet. The third scheme was with a blue stripe, white fuselage and blue tail with White ICX lettering. I worked this plane many times while stationed at UAM/PGUA back in the early 90s, we had Space A pax in the back and cargo up front. : www.airliners.net/open.file/0403360/L/www.airliners.net/open.file/0264410/L/Interstate DC8s Here's a rare one that I could not find until now. Back in the late 1980s Interstate Airlines had a contract hauling cargo from McGuire AFB, NJ/ KWRI to USAFE bases in Europe as well as Iceland and Greenland. We'd get this one almost every day, I believe it originated at Norfolk NAS/ KNGU, then we'd get her and turn it back out an hour or so later. These flights supported the US Navy and NATO naval forces out of Iceland quite a bit. It was similar in scope to the way the old LOGAIR operation was run inside the CONUS, just a different theater and customer. www.airliners.net/open.file/0400752/L/www.airliners.net/open.file/0302610/L/They were a rather busy little outfit, a few 8's in their employ, a few 727C's and an L-188 Electra like these: www.airliners.net/open.file/0824788/L/www.airliners.net/open.file/0027186/L/Regards John
