The sign says I have to ask permission before I can post anything HJG to any other site, so I'm 'a askin'. Got this JS32 off of FS.com, figured it would look sexy (in a pregnant tadpole sort of way) in the new AA/AE scheme. I'd like to upload it to fs.com in a few days, still need some clean up on the tail. Pete McKay

"THANKS" for asking Pete .... you're obviously a rare breed given the plagirarism of some HJG owned material we've seen of recent. Folk are free to paint, and upload, any texturesc they want for the old HJG JETSTREAM models. We no longer host this model (or those for the CV580 and ELECTRA 10) at HJG .... having sent it to FS.COM, but, our modelers (Dee in this particular case as I recall) still "own" the rights to these. Again .... you're clear to release your texture .... and "THANKS" for asking .... and we hope you realise lots of downloads Mark C AKL/NZ

Aharon!!! Shalom my good friend!!! I don't know about "the world", I'm a bit of a dinosaur as is my VA. And yes, Air Fresno is still around. Right now I'm redeveloping the routes. Again. Sarah is doing fine, she is now doing immigration law in San Francisco and is a bit embroiled with this new influx of refugees. Like them, hate them, they need a safe place to live. She and I differ on where but she and the firm she works for are working on settling a few families in California right now, pro bono I might add. We don't speak as often as we should, she and I, but that's how our kids tend to be now. Aerofoto, I am an FS painter from the olden days. Some of my repaints go back into the mid 1990's, and I always look at all of the documentation to see who the authors are and to get permission when I can. For me it's a matter of respect, something people like Bob Trembley instilled in me in my early VA days. I only hope that I can do this one a little justice. As such I pretty much redid the entire aircraft with a new tail graphic I found in an ad. The stripes still look a little long down the fuselage, the next revision will see them trimmed back in like with the vertical stab leading edge.

You might like to show our community a little bit of what you do Pete.
feel free to start another thread .... but .... on either the "GENERAL" or "NON-HJG" (aircraft subject) forum pages so the/our community can see some other of your work here .... and particularly if the above AE subject is still under revision.
Post the files names too .... and where .... once released also.
Never know .... some of our community might be interested in picking up a download or two by you :0

Holy cow Mark, well, um, let's see. On FS.com alone I have 127 paints, most of them for my own VA, Air Fresno. That goes back to January of 1999. I painted for a few VA's, my late wife and daughter were also painters. My wife Kim was recognized by fs.com as the first female VA owner in their "who's who" for the time it was up. I did a lot of stuff for folks that never put it to use, but that's how the VA hobby has been for as long as I've been in it. In 2000 Gary Kulash's VANF gave me their Pilot of the Year, Gary is still a friend of mine on Facebook. The funny thing is I have never used PSP for any paints, always MSPaint with either Photo Explosion delux or paint.net. I don't deal in layers as much as I do just simple designs. The last 5 years I have been battling one health issue after another and closed my VA for a bit. I'm trying to get it going again but most would consider the flight reporting system archaic by today's standards; I still use and swear by SATA's FS ACARS. Strictly FS9 too, I have FSX somewhere, I think it's keeping my kitchen table from wobbling. My favorite FS aircraft is still the PMDG beech 1900D, my neighbor is a retired 1900 pilots and we will sometimes do IP flights in the evenings. Old school... Final rendition BTW, the customer is pleased.

Interesting exchange of information. The Jetstream looks good in the latest AA livery.

Mark, my own airline seems to be my favorite, although I get carried away sometimes. I have been doing some AA/AE paints for a buddy and I'm liking the new livery. This is a customers aircraft, the one he really wanted before I started practicing on the tadpole, er, Jetstream. Another VA I painted for was my daughters last VA which I have sort of taken over for her, based on the short lived Air21 based out of Fresno. Her very first job in the summer of 1996, she was 17 and she cleaned and restocked the aircraft in the evenings. When she was home in 2007 after having her first baby she started the airline but after 4 months went back to work and let it go. I painted these two aircraft for the airline to reflect 2/3rds of the fleet at the time. Project Fokker aircraft. I'll dig through my archives and see what I can find, in 1999 I did a D.A.R.E. scheme on a 737, I also did a 2002 Olympics scheme about the same time, both for Air Fresno using the old ChanKen model. Some of those older planes needed to be animated, not sure how many can remember using the old Aircraft Animator to get their FS95 and FS98 aircraft's gear to work.
