Having worked as cabin crew for BOAC/BA in the 70s I enjoy recreating some of favourite my flights in FS. Thanks to all you talented people, I now have nearly every aircraft type in every livery that I flew in during that decade. Except one! A 707 freighter in BOAC CARGO livery. If anybody is looking for a project, it would be much appreciated. G-AVPB (see here: www.airliners.net/open.file/0964171/L/) brings back memories of my first trip to Bangkok, but that's another story.....
Not a lot of people know that Freighters had a steward as part of the crew. I had to do the paperwork for customs and immigration, serve meals to the flight crew and, would you believe, we had a duty free bar on board so we could all buy grog and ciggies to take off! In return I got to sit on the flight deck and had my own little room between the cockpit and the cargo net.
