Recently flew a few TU-154B2's. This trip was from Tashkent to Karachi. Encountered a lot of TS activity enroute. Lots of deviating required. Cruising at FL320 and the tops are still a few thousand feet higher. This is known as "Threading the Needle" Herman

Vielen Dank Mark. (don't know what that is Russki) I would imagine that the STOLICHNYA is an aged fine smooth Vodka. Herman

"IN RUSSIAN" .... that would be .... - Спасибо - Spasibo Meaning .... "THANK YOU" "VIELEN DANK" .... is "DUETCH/GERMAN" I think STOLICHNAYA .... or MOSKOVSKYA .... are, in my own personal opinion, the 2 best Vodkas one can get .... especially the imported (from Russia) versions Mark C AKL/NZ

Great photos Herman. The USSR Aeroflot livery is one of my all time favorites, as is the Tupolev Tu-154. I'm not a fan of Aeroflot's modern livery though.

Oh yes I like the current Aeroflot, very stylish imo. Looking at these pics makes me want to learn that aircraft very much, it's just the time aspect ...... and total lack of Russian language skills...... one day, one day... :-)

Hi: canuck! With the Project Tupolev Tu-154 knowledge of Russian is not obligatory: There exist airplane and flight manuals in English, a real English original handbook of Syrian Airlines and an English internet-forum explaining nearly every aspect of that incredible simulation. Even an English spoken interactive checklist and crewsounds are available as well exampleflights explaining the navigation systems. The real problem: It has an enourmous system depth and requires time to handle all the systems. But if you are prepared to spend an evening handbook in hand you can actually start flying circuits or try an ILS to Innsbruck (LOWI): Kind regards Walter
