Hmmmm.. Trans Global Airlines flight 2 is a Boeing 707 flying the "Golden Argosy" route, from Chicago (Lincoln) to Rome. Its registry code is N324F. (The REAL aircraft: N324F, a Boeing 707-349C (msn/ln 19354-503), was delivered to Flying Tiger Line on June 21, 1966. Since then, it had the following registries: EI-ASO, VH-EBZ, G-BAWP, 9J-AEC, S2-ACG, and finally PT-TCS, on Transbrasil Airlines. Sadly, on March 21, 1989, it crashed while making a final approach at São Paulo-Guarulhos Airport. The three occupants of this freight flight, plus 18 people on the ground died. ) www.airodyssey.net/articles/movie-airport.htmlImages: www.diecastaircraftforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=28159&d=1105249797www.diecastaircraftforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=28157&d=1105249725There is a FS2000 plane, but no FS9: "This is a Boeing 707-349C in the paintscheme of Trans Global Airlines from the movie "Airport". The model features all movable control surfaces, working thrust reversers and landing gear. Hi, emarkay!
There is a FS9 plane. I can send you the File, if you can send me your e-mail adress.

There is one on flightsim.com, I did a search for 'trans global 707' under FS2004 jetliners and found it. Although now that HJG have changed their aircraft for the new 707 panels, I'm not sure if you'll have trouble integrating the new panel with the Trans Global on Flightsim.
To be safe, you should probably download the new 707-320C base pack, with panels etc., and then use the flightsim download for textures only.

Jim

The "TRANS GLOBAL B707-320C" is a repaint by our highly talented Tong MADGE. This repaint uses the new "V6" model .... the first "V6" repaint ever to be released. It is available on FLIGHTSIM.COM only .... as a complete model and texture package. It's file name is as follows 707t_hjg.zipIf you plan to use this repaint with George CARTY's new B707-320B/C panels you should dump the AIRCRAFT.CFG and AIR.FILE which downloads with this FS.COM hosted aircraft. Replace this FDE data with the new versions contained within our B707-320C Base Pack .... available on the "B707-320C" downloads page. Failure to do so "may" result in the panel not operating desirably. Enjoy ! Mark C AKL/NZ

There's no way to ingetrate it as just a variant of the 707-320, is there? The texture filenames are all different. I was only able to get the vertical stab and the rearward tailcone to 'paint' by 'adjusting' things (!) in the various config files... Will just add it as another aircraft for now...

There shouldn't be a need to change the name of anything at all.
Make sure you use that particular texture set with the new "VERSION 6" B707-320C model only .... see the "V6" Base Pack at the very bottom of the "B707-320C" downloads page.
Don't use it on the older V5 model.

Um, FYI, The download of the 707 ends in V5...... (!)
HJG_Boeing_707-320C_v5.zip Whoops! Nevermind... Stop the presses!
I think V5 planes and V6 gauges cause problems and that may be something I missed...
AAARGH - so it's down at the bottom! Now you tell me!!!!
Why don't you invert that order and put the V6 at top and offer the v5 as an annotated archive!!!!

It will be "self inverting" as the long and laborious task of converting existing V5 models/textures to "VERSION 6" models/textures is completed. OK .... I think you've pulled the wrong (V5) Base Pack here, but, I think you've got that all sorted now though anyway OK .... there's no such thing as "V5 or V6 gauges". These version numbers relate to the models (more specifically) and their texture sets. In fact you can put a V5 texture on a V6 model .... and the only area of incompatibility I've ever observed is a small portion of lower fuselage wing box and a tiny piece of leading edge wing root .... which may reveal themselves as either opaque or black areas on the model. This's actually quite minor and most folk may not even detect it unless it was pointed out to them. These areas were redesigned for the new V6 models .... and an additional texture bitmaps necessary as a result. Apart from this issue, my experience has been "ALL" V5 textures are in fact perfectly compatible with the new "V6" models .... without renaming anything. Hope that helps clarify things adequately .... and "YES" .... all the current V5 models will eventually be upgraded to "VERSION 6" .... some time before the year 2010 ;D Mark C AKL/NZ
