Also an interesting photo. It appears to be, judging by the RR Conway engines, a Boeing 707-420, however it is missing the traditional fin at the bottom of the rear fusalage that was always a part of the -420 Model airplane. Herman

Some time "after" the tail fin of the B707 was extended and the ventral fin "added" (to all B707 versions until the early production -320B/prior to the -320B ADV) following the 1959 BN accident .... it was determined that the ventral fin (only) wasn't necessary and it was removed from "some" aircraft .... whilst on most others it remained throughout the operational service life of these airframes.

I know d-abod was done in the training colours, was just hoping it could be done in these ones? I like the "new" clean look also since its painted not bare metal on the bottom etc.. ☺
