Sorry "kLAUSFLY" .... Santa has already been .... and he won't be comming around again until next year ether ;D Just kidding Suggestions are always fine and appreciated too, but, we don't like even subtly pressuring our modellers and painters .... for the simple reason that any project taken on must first appeal to them. In other words they've really got to like any particuar subject to the extent they feel personally motivated into representing it. Just looking at that B367-80 panel image. I'd say it obviously represents the aircraft as it appeared much later in it's career .... possibly in it's final guise. The original B367-80 panel (and version needed to support our model) was far more basic/archaic in both intrumentation and layout .... according to one very early image I've seen. About those rare CV880 freighters. There's nothing I'd like to see more, but, the same rule (above) of its appeal first to the modeller must take precedence. If we were to paint some 880 Freighters now (and I do indeed have a list) then they'd need to be represented without maindeck freight doors Mark C AKL/NZ

I believe that panel photos of old aircraft with their original panels are rare on Airliners.net. My own 1959-era 707 panel was based on some pictures I got in a "FLIGHT" book published by LIFE magazine in the 1960s...

Hi, there!
I didn't want to push you. I only made some suggestions. And if I find more interesting birds (707, DC-8, CV880 or CV990), I'll post them here in this thread, ok?
