Rules of Brazil (D.A.C.)

Hi

If you change a texture or create one of Brazil, please include the registration on the Wings. It's defined by law of D.A.C. (the "FAA"brazilian) a many times ago. The real Convair used it. Only the newest airplanes (with composite materials) and expressly recommended by manufacturer doesn't show it (lika 3 trilple seven (only at this time) , the DAC returns to me). The Boeing (all) or oldest aircrafts use it.

All aircraft in HJG with Brazilian texture need this!!!

If you check out my Brasilian BAC One-Eleven and HS.748 paints you will see registrations on the wings.

It can't be done on the Convair........just one of those things that you have to put up with I'm afraid.

Remember it cost folks money and time to give these things free.

Thanks Garry. I must point out that the 990 cannot have reg numbers on the wings its a fact of life simple as that just like milk comes from animals not bottles in the supermarket, bread wasnt the best invention known to man either nope that was the Jaguar XKR so thats todays Earth shattering facts, sadly there is no money working on a FREEWARE website just lotsof time spent uploading and painting and quite often painting not quite right, I use the excuse of "artist licence" for my inability to get something right, amazingly I get away with it time and time again!

Hi,

First, sorry for my explanation.

I put it in forum a tittle of information, becuase many artist don't know the rules of DAC.

I don't know of impossibility in a Convair.

I see the others models like a 707 and DC-8 wich doesn't have this registration in a wings (up and down). The correct format is a exmaple: PP- in the left and VRG other.

IF possible, or when the texture is revised, please put the registration in wings.

Sorry for my poor english ( if it show a very "hard") , because my native language is portuguese.

Garry: Congratulations for your others repaints; i've in my FS all your repaints of BAC 1-11 ...
I very like flight in this models. I found the old picture of BAC ( FAB ) wich are used for a Brazilian presidsent in 60's. I tried to repaint this D.Maltby model (blank) but the result are a "Picasso art"... ;D ;D ;D

If you desire, i've old postcard with images (reals) of aircrafts like a DC-8 of Alitalia of 60's and 70's. I can send a scanned image for you.

Thanks for clearing a few things up

I didn't paint the Convair.........I just looked at the texture maps because I thought it would have been done if it could be......but as I thought it was not possible

Thanks for the offers of images...but I don't paint the HJG aircraft as a rule.

All I have done for HJG is a couple of Boeing 707s and some modification work for Mark .

I do know what you mean about wings, but that is not just Brasil.

A lot of painters don't do anything to the wings and often there was a registration one side and the airline name the other.

Most countries have the registration under the wing and some on top but many FS paints are done without.

But HJG and CBFS, where I am an official painter, always go for the accuracy if the model textures allows it.

That way I can assure you that anything that comes form HJG or CBFS is done to the highest standard possible with that particular model.

It is something very important to all of us.

I think what "MARTINCWB" is meaning is our current Brasilian B707 & DC8 repaints shouls all have wing registrations (and in some cases airline names) too.

We have good photo references for these aircraft .... B707, CV990, & DC8 in both VARIG and PANAIR DO BRASIL liveries .... esta no es una problema !

The CV990 will not permit wing registrations .... imposible completemente !

Maybe something could be done for both B707 & DC8 HJG repaints in the future, but, this will not happen quickly soon .... tienemos nosotros trabajo bastante esta momento.
