These are likely the last subjects i'll be previewing this year
The 1990's saw major changes throughout Frances civil aviation industry.
UTA FRENCH AIRLINES was merged into AIR FRANCE (and which saw some of its DC-10-30's operated in definitive AIR FRANCE livery) from January 12th 1990 .... and which resulted in UTA then ceasing to exist as from December 18th 1992.
AIR INTER was also merged into AIR FRANCE from April 1st 1997.
A minority shareholding in TAT EUROPEAN AIRLINES was also acquired by AIR FRANCE between 1993 and 1996 .... although this airline was bought out by BRITISH AIRWAYS during 1997 and later merged into AIR LIBERTE which it had also acquired during 1996.
AIR OUTRE MER .... which had been founded during 1988 .... was merged into AIR MINERVE to form AOM FRENCH AIRLINES/AOM MINERVE during 1992 .... and then merged into AIR LIBERTE (established during July 1987) from March 25th 2001 to form AIR LIB as of September 22nd 2001 .... but .... which ceased operations on February 17th 2003 having become an extended casualty of the SWISSAIR bankruptsy.
BRITISH AIRWAYS .... which had bought both AIR LIBERTE and TAT during 1997 .... sold both operations to SWISSAIR during 2000.
SWISSAIR went bankrupt during October 2001.
AIR LIB then declared bankrupt during August 2002 .... and was eventually liquidated on February 17th 2003.

Although some of the later version AOM liveries may look similar .... no 2 subjects are identical .... each support various differences
Special thanks to my friend and HJG colleague Camilo LUENGAS for his much appreciated assistance preparing this historic AIR OUTRE MER/AOM DC-10 inventory .... and also to Tony MADGE for his representation of F-GTLY in the basic AIR LIB livery
