I'm not sure if any of you are from the Detroit Area, or are familiar with the city, Growing up on Buffalo Street in Detroit during the 1990's, I wasn't too far from Colman A. Young International Airport. Many times, I would see Boeing 737-300/-400's and an occasional MD-80 in ProAir liveries climbing out and turning east, shaking the old yellow brick house with the roar of their engines. I have always cherished those memories. I would love to begin re-creating these ProAir flights in and out of the Detroit area. Here are some examples: 1999_pro_air-2 1999_pro_air-1Is there any way these can be painted?

I forgot about these guys... yea i'll add them to my list... there's 6 different ones, 3 each -300 and -400s Pity the MD-90s never got into service with them. And I remember the big deal about them into DET instead of DTW and miffing NWA no end... (what can i say, we got US channels from Detroit at the time )

It must have been quite a daunting sight for the pilots of Pro Air to fly in and out of the Detroit City airport on a 5000ft runway, , not to metion the noise factor for the residents. Herman

Herman I know they were weight restricted... ATL was pretty much as far as they went non-stop... even MCO was served one-stop. I dunno what config they had on their 737s...

Had a look for you Pete .... but as yet .... "NOTHING" .... just N461PR and N360PR images among others, but, nothing in regard to "N361PR". Looks like they only operated it for less than a year .... from November 1999 until June 2000 .... www.planespotters.net/airframe/Boeing/737/N361PR-Pro-Air/D910uP11.... and which may account for any scarcety of images. Given it was a leased aircraft I also wonder if it ever actualy made it into definitive PROAIR livery too .... for the above reason. Mark C AKL/NZ

Well that's the question Mark... N361PR and N362PR were leased at the same time. N362PR only wore the tail colors for about 3 weeks before being sent back to Frontier, and never got the full fuselage markings, but there are some pics of it at least both with white tail and full color tail... N361PR may never of gotten the tail but it is surprising there are 0 pictures of it online? I know it did fly in Pro Air service so it must of flown in some kind of markings.
And actually after looking at the only pic i have of 362 with the tail now looks like a photoshopping of a whitetail pic... so it may never of gotten the tail either?

Ok found a single pic of N361PR with no tail and the same red bird as 362... so apparently they just got the same titles decals to get them into service. I'll do only 362 then in that confirmed white tail livery.
