First of 3... N401AL, 737-497 circa 1992. Aloha had 2 737-400s for a short time along with 2 737-300s and 2 737-300QCs. The CFM56 turned out to be unsuited for the short flight quick turnaround salt water operations in Hawaii and all 6 were disposed of within a couple years reverting Aloha to all 737-200s. Hawaiian had a similar experience with the MD-80 and the JT8D-200 series... Anyways, N401AL: High Res 1High Res 2

They had Boeing 737-300's painted up like that too. DHC-6's... Do-228's... Dash-8-100's... That livery fit many an airplane.
