Any plans regardin these... as most non-US airforces that have 707 tankers are using a standard 707 as base aircraft.
Variants that i know of... excluding the really oddball ones and the antenna variations: [/li][li]Clean C-137... just a basic 707 with a cargo door and maybe some weight adjustments [/li][li]Clean C-137 with hushkits... AFAIK some have them installed [/li][li]C-137 with hose tanking system on centerline (does that exist?) [/li][li]C-137 with hose tanking on wingtip pods [/li][li]C-137 with boom [/li][li]C-137 with 3x hose (center + wingtips) [/li][li]C-137 with boom and hose [/li][li]C-137 with boom supports but with the moving parts missing (To be specific, some versions of the 707-3J9C)

Hmmm... I don't know if we have any of these in the pipleline right now. I can say that I'd like to see some of these in the future though.

I hope i'm not pushing my luck, but is there any chance of some fanjet E-3's i.e. the RAF examples, in the pipeline? There is a market at the minute for one, especially with UKMIL pushing ahead with there one.

I don't know if we yet have the correct models to support these suggestions (I'm not a C135 expert like Jay & Gary) .... but .... what I'd certainly like to see the following represented here in the future Armee de l'Air/French Air Force) C137-F (1964 natural metal scheme), J57 turbojet powered. Armee de l'Air/French Air Force) C135-FR (1985 scheme), CFM powered .... I think this model needs wing pods. RAF E3D Sentry AEW1 (possibly in 8th SQDN's 1995 80th anniversary markings), CFM powered. I feel it might be nice to try and get some foreign service representation among our C135 inventory. Anyway .... just a few in-house suggestions Mark C AKL/NZ

I'll look into the 707 Tankers, and I am already (well still anyway) working on the E-3D. Cheers, Gary

Hell I'm waiting for the 707 tankers, if Gary decides to model them then we're gonna make a lot of OMEGA guys happy ie. the Omega repaint thats online right now will get a proper model. I'd do 'em myself but I'm still learning the ropes. Jay

Are you doing just the belly refuel package, or the -219 engine mod as well? Either way works for me To be honest, I'm not enough a 707 guru to know how to ID all the different PW engines that came on the different 707's though the production cycle.(But I'd be able to run you up one side of the street and back on the 5,000(well maybe not 5,000 but you get the picture) different P-3 configurations out there.) Give me a little time and I will learn them. This is one of the reasons I enjoy FS so much. I've learned so much aviation stuff, especially the civilian side since my FS days began...

I saw a picture of the "B707RE" (which I believe is the aircraft which flight tested the new P&W JT8D turbofans). The new nacelle looks markedly different from the classic P&W JT3D nacelle on B707-320B/C aircraft .... in fact one could very easily mistake them for DC8-62/63 type P&W JT3D engine nacelles .... if what I saw in this picture is actually the correct powerplant.

I'm probably only going to do the JT-3D engines for now. I still have to build the JT- -219 for 707RE, maybe then when I get that done, I will build the -219 powered tanker. Cheers, Gary

Just curious. Is it actually possible with FS9 to simulate refuelling another aircraft in flight? If it is, I would really be interested to know how this is done.
