I know you can connect up .... if you're virtual flying skills are suffiviently "TOP KNOTCH".
I've seen that done.
I suppose you're really asking though if one can viirtually transfer fuel from one aircraft the another.
I really don't know !

Mark; I was really just curious if you could get two aircraft, the tanker and a receiver aircraft, to fly in close formation at the same time in FS. If it was possible it would make for some interesting flying.

I'm probably only going to do the JT-3D engines for now. I still have to build the JT- -219 for 707RE, maybe then when I get that done, I will build the -219 powered tanker. Cheers, Gary Cool, good things come to those who wait.

On the subject of fuel transfer in FS9, there is a gauge that will simulate AAR. It might still be on avsim, not to sure. I hear it works great with multiplayer. What you do is get the two birds to connect (or get really close to connecting) and while the tanker is offloading to the receiver the receiver's fuel load increases. There is a bug, however, in that the tankers offload has to be adjusted manually after the transfer. For some reason they can't get FS9 to subtract the offload from total fuel. Anyways, this was something I downloaded a while back and never really used it so I deleted it.

By the way; Bob, those are some really great shots...one little technicality though. USAF Phantoms never used the hose and basket system. Other than that they're SUPER!!!!

these aircraft were set up by my son on an AI flight plan to my FJDG base, good a , so I knew where they were, just met up with them on the way to base, realize they hadn't got refueling capability's, but fitted scenario quite well I thought,
