I am looking for a repaint of its one and only Gulf Air L-1011-100 Tristar with registration A40-TS for FS2004/FSX as I have both. Now, I know that you have released textures for L-1011-200 of Gulf Air, but I'm especially interested in their one and only L-1011-100! Gulf Air mostly operated the 200. It had at some point in the 1980's 11 Tristar aircrafts! From these only two weren't 200's one is (the one I'm kindly requesting) the A40-TS and the other was L-1011-1 A40-TP. So, please is it possible Mr. Tony Madge who he's been doing a wonderful job to create a repaint of Gulf Air A40-TS for the L-1011-100? I have never came across with such a quality aircraft designing before and I don't wish to flatter you but you've been doing a very good and detailed job!

It would be better/more helpful if you post a good (preferably side on) image of the aircraft concerned. "IF" it's livery is identical to that of the GULF AIR L-1011-1 and -200 we already represent .... THEN .... what you're requesting may be easily achievable as a simple registration change of what we currently have, but, you need to provide a decent image for us to be able to verify this .... and the decision whether or not to actually do it will be Tony's of course  Mark C AKL/NZ |

Please, it is the first time ever, that I am requesting for something in general here in HJG. Motivated for your attention in detail and the quality of the products that you create I took the initiative to ask for it! By the way I edit in my very first post that it is for FS2004/FSX as I have both.

Our L-1011 simulations (aircraft base packs, panels, sounds, and textures) are all FS2004 native .... but .... "ARE" ALSO"all FSX portable too .... without any known difficulties or limitations there. We offer separate FS2004 and FSX specific RR RB-211 soundpacks for these simulations .... so it's important folk select, and install, the correct soundpack version soundpack in accordance with their FS version of choice Mark C AKL/NZ |

Currently I prefer FS2004 because of a better frames per second operation! But I'll keep that in mind that are all FSX portable too!

George, I have completed the modification to the Gulf texture, it will be put on the website soon. Re counting windows on aircraft we paint compared top real life... I think you may be looking for the level of perfection we cannot provide |
